Who is Svante Gullichsen?
I am a creative Helsinki-based photographer with solid experience in commercial photography for both large- and small-scale needs. In addition, I am known in Finland and internationally for my fine art photography.
I work independently and efficiently, maintaining close and constructive collaboration with my clients. I support the entire photography project from concept development and scheduling to the shoot itself and final image delivery. I also work comfortably with people who are not used to being in front of the camera.
I have extensive networks with producers, video professionals, and makeup artists.
My clients include the Four Seasons, Lovable, Fazer, City of Helsinki, Kojamo, Stockmann, and many others.

Four Seasons
I photographed and designed a new imagery identity for the Four Seasons Explorer Palau superyacht. I created authentic and emotional imagery aboard the yacht, capturing both its spectacular setting and refined luxury in a natural, understated way. The photos were not only taken on the yacht, but also underwater and from air.
The client was extremely satisfied with the images and gave extensive positive feedback on my efficient handling of the project, as well as my ability to capture the yacht’s elegant lifestyle and the unique archipelago of Palau.
Lovable
I’ve photographed several projects for the Swedish-American super company Lovable.
I shot brand images, staff images and media imagery, but one particularly interesting case was called "Lovable Builders". I was taskedn to photograph their pioneer users across Europe. I photographed and interviewed incredibly fascinating people, all of whom had launched their own businesses with the help of Lovable. I always arranged the shoots in places that were meaningful to each model: I visited a sheep pasture, a waffle café, the rooftop of a skyscraper, a bar, an old movie theater, and even just a normal british living room. The goal was to capture emotional, authentic images of the people behind the interfaces.

Lovable Builders
Helsinki Exposed
I planned and produced the visual imagery for the Helsinki Exposed website in collaboration with Bou in spring 2024.
The client’s brief was to create paparazzi-style images capturing moments of everyday life in Helsinki, as if the photographer had “accidentally” stumbled upon the scenes.
My role in the project included photography and editing, as well as casting, location scouting, booking a stylist, and scheduling.
The client was extremely pleased with the final images, and I received special praise for the playful and inventive shooting locations.
Fazer employer brand images
I planned and executed employer branding photography for Finland’s largest confectionery and bakery company, Fazer, in collaboration with the communications agency Drum.
The shoots took place in real working environments at Fazer’s factories, using actual employees as models. Authenticity, workplace joy, and guiding participants who were inexperienced in front of the camera were key elements of the project. Additionally, working within an active factory environment added an extra layer of challenge and character to the images.
The client was extremely satisfied with the final photos.

IQM employer brand images
I photographed futuristic and stylish images featuring IQM’s own employees, capturing the innovative and dynamic spirit of the company. The shoot went smoothly, the models felt comfortable in front of the camera, and the client was very pleased with the results.
Helsinki Happiness Hacks
I created the still imagery for a four-day travel event organized by Visit Finland and Helsinki Partners, where 14 participants from around the world were invited to experience Helsinki and its lifestyle.
I followed the group closely, documenting their emotions, interactions, and enjoyment. The client requested a documentary approach while ensuring the images could also be used for marketing purposes.
During the event, I captured authentic moments and, when needed, guided participants to act out certain situations to achieve the best possible results.
Arnolds
I worked with the café chain Arnolds to manage their social media imagery.
The client wanted appealing, mouth-watering photos that would help people associate their products with more than just busy shopping malls.
I planned and photographed images throughout the year, following seasonal campaigns. I independently sourced and arranged locations, models, and props. Some shoots were conducted alongside a chef to ensure the carefully branded products looked exactly as intended.
Over the course of more than a year, I produced hundreds of imaginative images for Arnolds, all of which the client was very pleased with
