Case study: Where art meets commerce
As an artist and commercial photographer, I created this series to show how artistic vision and commercial needs can meet.
I crafted a captivating story of two young adults lost in the woods after an extravagant countryside party.
I focused on creating images that reflect decadence, a mystical atmosphere, and unusual landscapes.
This work reflects my belief that commercial imagery can be both powerful and refined — telling a story while serving a brand’s voice.

Artworks & Portraits
As an artist, I use self-portraits in natural environments to explore themes of mental health, identity, queerness and bonding with nature. Nature acts as both a mirror and a space for reflection, helping me connect with the emotions and experiences that shape who we are. Through these images, I try to capture those fleeting moments — those brief but powerful instances when everything feels raw and real.
My portraits aim to hold onto those moments of quiet vulnerability, where emotions are still unfolding and hard to put into words. It’s about capturing something fragile and beautiful before it slips away.

Case Helsinki Exposed
Client: City of Helsinki
I planned and executed a photo series for the Helsinki Exposed website in collaboration with Boun in the spring of 2024.
The client wanted paparazzi-style images capturing everyday moments in the lives of Helsinki residents—as if the photographer had just “accidentally stumbled upon” the scenes.
My responsibilities included the photography and editing, but I also handled casting, location scouting, booking a stylist, and scheduling.
The client was very happy with the final images, and I received special praise for the playful and inventive choice of locations.

Lumo homes brand images
Client: Lumo homes / Kojamo
I planned and executed a brand photoshoot for Lumo homes together with my team in Helsinki. I scouted locations and selected models in collaboration with our producer. The goal was to create stylish, fresh, and timeless brand images that would support Lumo's visual identity for years to come. The images were designed to reflect Lumo's values of offering delightful surroundings for both work and leisure.

Case Helsinki Happiness Hacks
Client: Visit Finland
I created a still image series for a four-day tourism event organized by Visit Finland and Helsinki Partners, where 14 people from around the world were brought to experience and explore Helsinki and its lifestyle.
I followed the group closely, documenting their emotions, friendships, and enjoyment throughout the event. The client requested a documentary approach, but with the flexibility to use the images for marketing purposes as well.
During the event, I captured authentic moments while also directing the participants when needed to stage certain scenarios for the best possible outcome.
